When Dr. Vincent Marinkovich died in September of 2007, his office referred his patients to two doctors, Dr. Peter Madhill and Dr. Michael Gray. I met Dr. Michael Gray several years ago when he appeared as an expert witness at the O'Hare mold exposure trial in Eugene, Oregon. I was very impressed with Dr. Gray as he testified before a jury of our peers. Like most mold trials The jury usually knows nothing about how toxic mold affects the human body. It is very difficult to educate the jury of peers from the general public, while the defense is countering whatever you say. What impressed me most was his passion to help patients who have suffered from a toxic mold exposure. He has been a true pioneer in the emerging field of Environmental Illness from Toxic Mold.

One day as we talked and walked back across the street from the court house, I was discussing my idea of doing a 'Domestic Violence Project', where we would test the participants, their homes and workplaces, for levels of mold and mycotoxins, to establish a causational relationship. Dr. Gray became pleasantly excited about the potential of the project, expounding on the various methods of studies we could use.
